Ever hear the old saying, "dark day, fish a dark fly?" Morrish's Black and Blue Trailer Trash is a killer fly for those overcast winter days. It fishes best in high water. Although the fly has some weight from the shank, it does not have lead eyes to get it down in the water column. Try pinching a split shot on the leader directly in front of the fly. Some anglers will run a tungsten cone head on the leader as well. We've also had great success with the Trailer Trash fishing Canadian summer steelhead rivers and King salmon in Alaska and BC.
